Virginia Coalition is a rock band from Alexandria, Virginia, who met in the early 1990s through their music class at T. C. Williams High School. Referred to as VACO by fans, the band released their first album, The Colors of The Sound in 1998. VACO's live shows are known for their soulfully frenetic atmosphere.

The band ventured cross country to California and got to work, challenging themselves to find a more emotionally intense means of expression. “There's a value to the time you put into a project,” Poliakoff explains.The songs on Home This Year showcase the band‟s remarkable growth as both musicians and songwriters. The title track is a tale of the loneliness and yearning that haunts the road.

Taking the music back to their songwriting roots on Home This Year has imbued the trio with a new sense of purpose. The gigs they've been doing to prepare for the album release have been drawing raves, leaving fans awed with their emotional and musical intensity. With this new album in hand, the band is ready to write the next chapter in the history of Virginia Coalition.

Lukcy Twice - Lucky

Lucky Twice is a Swedish teenage pop duo from Malmö consisting of fifteen year old Hannah Reynold and sixteen year old Sofie Larsson. They are signed to Family Tree Music in Sweden.

Their first single "Lucky", was released in Spain on July 20, 2006 through Vale Music. It went to number 1 in the singles chart and was certified double platinum. Their album Young & Clever was released in June 2007 and was followed on July 23 by the single "Hop Non Stop".

"Lucky" has also hit the charts in Denmark (# 5), France (# 8), Finland (# 17), Germany (# 41), Austria (# 42) and Sweden {# 43). Despite some video rotation, press interest and a performance at G-A-Y in London, the release of the CD single was cancelled in the United Kingdom after some record label complications.

Eberg - Inside Your Head

Eberg, also known as Einar Tönsberg, is an Icelandic musician who made his debut in Iceland in 2003. With his own electronic/ dreampop style, Eberg has many critics praising his albums. His music is London based, making most of his fans from the UK. He released his first album, Plastic Lions, in August 2003 when he created 50 hand-made copies, selling them at 15 pounds, using the profits to print covers with an artwork theme.

Eberg’s second album Voff Voff has a more organized arrangement of acoustics and electronics that made most of the songs on the album hits in the UK and Iceland.The songs on the album include the humorous ‘Love Your Bum’ and ‘Inside Your Head’, which is one of the more popular songs. ‘Inside Your Head’ was played on the hit television series, The O.C., in the sixth episode of the fourth season. The show is known for its great musical selections, helping artists gain recognition. Eberg says that the producer launched an interest in his music, which came as a surprise to him, “I’ve been getting a good reaction since and the song is number six on the iTunes chart in the U.S. electronic section.” This album with its diverse, electronic, and digital effects.


Made from violin parts and a coat hanger, the Eharp, the instrument Eberg invented, creates his original sound. Eberg’s interesting and playful lyrics add to his original sound. He states, “My inspiration for lyrics comes from everything like fishing trips, landscapes, childhood memories, disapointedness, desire, bog rolls, being… I like lyrics which I’m not quite sure what they are about.” The Independent finds that in the song ‘Twinkle Tune’, “a nursery rhyme triggers memories of a long- ago holidays on a farm where ‘the shells and sheep legs brought us a new world.’” The song ‘Love Your Bum’ has “a sensual, romantic lyric created entirely from toilet-roll ad-bites, ‘supersoft and extra strong, tuggable and huggable’; while ‘Sober in June’ finds our hero promising to ‘bounce off the sofa before noon’ to try to find the ‘flavour of success’, though without too much conviction.”

Justice is a French electro house. duo consisting of Gaspard Augé (b. 21 May 1979) and Xavier de Rosnay (b. 2 July 1982). They are the most successful group on Ed Banger Records,and are managed by the label's head, Pedro Winter. Their main trademark is a large light-up cross that shines throughout their shows. Their debut album † was Mixmag's Album of the Month in June 2007, and number 18 on Blender Magazine's "25 Best Albums of 2007" list. Justice are known for incorporating a strong rock influence into their music and image.

Jack's Mannequin is a piano rock band from Orange County, California. A solo project of Andrew McMahon that started in 2004, the band's debut album was released in August 2005. In June of that year, McMahon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After he made a full recovery, his album, Everything in Transit, was received with positive response by fans and critics. They are currently signed to Sire Records.

Band of Horses, previously known as simply Horses, is an American indie rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle by Ben Bridwell, Mat Brooke, Creighton Barrett and Rob Hampton.The band often draws comparisons to My Morning Jacket, largely due to the vocal similarities between Bridwell and My Morning Jacket lead singer Jim James

Ben Bridwell (guitar, vocals) and Mat Brooke (guitar) formed the band in 2004 after the break-up of their previous band, Carissa's Wierd. The band initially received attention from Sub Pop after opening for Iron & Wine during Seattle area shows. In 2005, the band released Tour EP, which was sold exclusively at shows and on Sub Pop's website. Its debut full-length, Everything All the Time was recorded in 2005 with producer Phil Ek and released on March 21, 2006 to generally positive reviews.

I personally found out about this band on One Tree Hill which is a t.v series on The C.W and after I heard the song I feel in love so I search http://www.oth-music.com/ and I found the out the name of the band and the rest is history.
